thoughts i am going into next semester with:
//// there is a changing nature to human beings. we are all engaged in small, continuous movements. phrases like, “I thought I knew the person” or “we just grew apart…” are interesting proofs that people are not static. we’re dimensional beings, and we are surprised that people do not stay the same. in the same way, we are also surprised that people don’t understand us when we cannot even ever fully know ourselves. we are all constantly in motion. our desires, decisions, loves, actions and character are always in this state of movement, and we cannot fix our eyes on just the right perspective without it moving from our grasp. observe and move with the small movements happening all around, or else you’ll be stuck in a reality that no longer exists.
